How It Works

Once an idea is submitted, the Translational Council evaluates the project’s strengths (e.g., unmet need, market potential, feasibility) and gaps or weaknesses, provides specific input or advice, and directs the investigator to seek expert assistance from one or more MCW Cancer Center, institutional, or outside resources.

The Translational Council staff then monitor and keep track, by means of a dashboard, of how discoveries move through the translational pipeline to deployment readiness to generate impact in the clinic or community.
