Postdoctoral Researcher: Two-Year Fellowship
The Biobehavioral Oncology Training (BBOT) Program considers the role of biological and behavioral factors in cancer prevention, control, and treatment through the integration of two themes: 1) the biology of stress and disparities, and 2) social determinants of health, behavior, and outcomes. Program objectives include cultivating successful, independent cancer research leaders from diverse population groups to address cancer health disparities by integrating biological and behavioral aspects into their research.

Associate Director of Survivorship and Pediatric Oncology - Assistant Professor
The individual in this position will lead the development and execution of a comprehensive survivorship research strategy, building a lifespan-focused survivorship program. This role includes coordinating collaborative research efforts among clinicians, scientists, and community partners to improve the quality of life and long-term health outcomes for cancer survivors; evaluating program effectiveness through data analysis; mentoring trainees and junior faculty; and contributing to MCW Cancer Center leadership through the Director’s Council. The candidate will also advocate for survivors and their families and, if a practicing clinician, may provide inpatient and outpatient care while supporting clinical program development within Pediatric Hematology/Oncology/Bone Marrow Transplant and Cellular Therapy, along with other duties as assigned.

Clinical Research Coordinator II - Psychiatry
This role supports the NIH-funded SOLO Study which is a clinical trial of screening interventions to increase detection of anal cancer. The individual hired for this position will be responsible for coordinating research activities at multiple sites in conjunction with the principal investigator and other team members. Some of the coordination of research activities will occur in Milwaukee; thus, knowledge of Milwaukee and its diverse communities is preferred. This position requires substantial capacity to travel, and to work effectively within a research team and with external research collaborators.

Leader in Precision Oncology and Rare Cancers Research Joins MCW Cancer Center
Dr. Kurzrock recently assumed the leadership roles of associate director of clinical research for the MCW Cancer Center, associate director of precision oncology at the MCW Mellowes Center for Genomic Sciences and Precision Medicine and founding director of the newly established Michels Rare Cancers Research Laboratories at Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin. She holds The Linda T. and John A. Mellowes Endowed Chair in Precision Oncology.
