Faculty and Health Professionals

The Cancer Center’s signature event includes invited keynote speakers, scientific presentations from the Cancer Biology, Cancer Control, and Discovery and Developmental Therapeutics research programs, presentations from trainees, interactive workshops, networking, a poster session, and more.

Community Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs provide opportunities for faculty and invited speakers to present state-of-the-art information relevant to cancer clinical trials, cancer treatment, community health, and cancer disparities. Programs are held in many communities in our Catchment Area including a long-running CME program in Green Bay and the Community Outreach and Engagement co-sponsored Share the Care program with the Great Lakes Inter-Tribal Council.

Monthly DOT integrated science meetings include early-career basic science and clinical investigators as both participants and presenters, with the goal of conceiving, developing, and conducting cutting-edge correlative studies in conjunction with ongoing or planned clinical trials. These meetings also serve as a forum to develop transdisciplinary collaborations, promote career development, and educate staff such as genetic counselors and Clinical Trials Office staff.

Meet the iDOT Chairs

Each of the Cancer Center’s three research programs hosts one seminar monthly with the fourth reserved for Grand Rounds. These seminars are an opportunity to highlight the latest research and clinical updates, aimed at fostering improved patient care.
